I’m tall. Since you’re behind a computer screen and can’t measure me, I’ll just make it easy for you and say I’m 6’2. I’m long in the leg, and in sports cars that makes things a bit interesting.

The Corvette, for example, takes some yoga training just to gracefully get in and out of (still working on that), so a flat-bottom steering wheel that allows some extra limb movement is very welcome indeed. To be honest, it’s not just about ingress and egress either. This particular example I chose is from the Caravaggio edition, because it looks simply wonderful. Additionally, flat bottom steering wheels are prolific in the high-end sports car market. I see no reason to reject a steering wheel that looks good, and offers realistic usability features.
