‘Fast and Furious’ Star Michelle Rodriguez Tracks a 1,000 HP C6 Z06 Corvette

There’s no doubt that when it comes to fast cars, Michelle Rodriguez has driven her fair share of them. After all, it pretty much comes with the territory with her recurring role as Letty Ortiz in the The Fast and Furious franchise.

One of the celebrity’s latest adventures takes place behind the wheel of a 2008 Corvette Z06 in an episode of Yahoo Auto’s “Riding Shotgun with Michelle Rodriguez.” But this isn’t your typical C6 Z06. The all-black ‘Vette is owned by Jack Brown, a retired New York City Police Chief, who had the car modified with a twin-turbo engine dishing out 1,000 horsepower and equipped with a gang of other custom features to handle all that output.

“The only thing that’s original is the alternator,” says Brown.

All said, the high-powered C6 packs three different levels of boost with a potential for 1,268 HP, which gives Rodriguez quite a kick, as you’ll see in the clip below.
