Corvette Owner Shot After Waving Mustang Driver to Pass

I’m not sure there’s any way to avoid the stupidity of others — but I guess that shouldn’t stop us from taking extra precautions on the road. This latest story of  road-rage is certainly an indication of that.

According to a Daily Mail report, a mother driving with her son in her yellow C6 Corvette on a highway in suburban Atlanta was shot by a Mustang driver during a fit of road rage. The 44-year-old woman, Angelina Christiano, is alive but in critical condition.

One of the most troubling things about the incident is that Christiano was apparently shot after waving for the Mustang to pass her, which is proof that sometimes common courtesy won’t even help to avoid a confrontation with an idiot.

Luckily, the woman’s 25-year-old son wasn’t injured in the incident. But let’s all keep Christiano in our thoughts, and hope that police catch this idiot who is still on the loose.
