Corvette Grand Sport Reveal Video Will Get You Even More Excited

Not since the C4 edition of the Corvette Grand Sport has a GS model garnered so much attention (sorry C6 guys, though we do love that one, too) as the new C7 Grand Sport. And the car’s reveal leaves no doubt as to the intention of the GS model, as highlighted by the video video. Where the C6 GS failed to scare off the Germans, the C7 Grand Sport is a much different story. Don’t call it a Z06 with clipped wings, call it the most athletic and nimble C7 you can buy.

Aimed at the demographic that’d be interested in attending track days more than tests and tunes at the strip, the GS reaches back to the roots of being a cold-blooded endurance race car legend. Without the monster supercharged V8 engine, but with all of the extra handling and aero developments found on the Z06, the Grand Sport combines the best of both worlds with a trackable car that’ll pretty much blow the doors off anything that tries to compete next to it.
