C7 Corvette Z06 Rips Lamborghini Huracan on Runway

Here’s another video to send to all the trolls who’ve been hanging out on the forums trying to discredit the new Corvette Z06.

The video below comes via TheBayAreaRacing, and it clearly shows a C7 Z06 giving a Lamborghini Huracan a lashing in a drag race. In fact, the Lamborghini comes off more like an oversized Toyota Prius than a so-called “supercar.”

Okay, it wasn’t actually that bad. But you certainly wouldn’t call this one close.

Granted the Huracan only puts out 602 horsepower, roughly 50 horses short of the Z06’s 650. But with a price tag of more than $237,000, I’d expect a little more from the Lamborghini. Then again it’s really just further proof that regardless of how much people covet those pricey Italian supercars, for what they cost, they are grossly overrated.

Oh, and for any troll who insists the Z06 jumped the line, in racing that’s called a “rolling start.”
