C6 Corvette ZO6 and Toyota Supra Go Russian Snow Drifting

Here’s something you don’t see very often: an all-out drifting showdown between a C6 Corvette Z06 and a Toyota Supra in snowy Russia.

The wild winter duel, captured in the video below, features Russian drifter Sergey Kabargin and a friend hitting the breathtaking forest of Karelia for a little fun in the white stuff, as highlighted in an Auto Evolution report.

Seeing a ‘Vette and stripped-down Supra pull off these power-sliding maneuvers on dry pavement would be worth the thee-minute video break. But watching it all go down in a setting where the average March temperature is negative-5 degrees Celsius, is worth a couple extra views.

The clip, evidently one of many to come, also serves as a pretty clear example of why this kind of driving is better left to real driving professionals. Although, I imagine on those open icy roads the temptation to have a little fun would be hard to resist.
