We’re Lovin’ It: 2018 Corvette ZR1 Spied at McDonald’s

Not sure what they ordered at McDonald’s, but Corvette fans got their best look yet at the highly anticipated vehicle.

McDonald’s is an American fast food institution. Who doesn’t love a Big Mac? Well, apparently, the allure of McDonald’s is so strong, that someone driving the unreleased Corvette ZR1 just had to take the vehicle out on a lunch run at one of America’s busiest restaurant chains. Not sure if the lunch-goer thought they could get their sandwich and go quickly enough to not be spotted, but unfortunately for them, and fortunately for us, an eagle-eyed Corvette fan was able to take a few pictures.

First things first, the 2018 Corvette ZR1 is going to be an aggressive looking sports car. You can clearly see from the pictures the new hood with the two large vents in the center section, and three large air intakes dominating the front end of the vehicle. Also noticeable is the prominent front-end splitter, with what can only be described as little wings on the sides, adding to the race-ready look of the vehicle.

Adding to that racecar vibe is the pretty huge wing on the rear. From previous spy shots, we’ve seen different sized wings now, and you have to wonder if that means that the wing size will correspond to different performance packages. Clearly, the new ZR1 is going to be an eye-catching sports car, regardless of how big the wing ends up.

No details are really known yet for what’s under the hood, although rumors abound. Will they try to greatly outdo previous models? Odds are we’ll find out soon enough. The 2018 Corvette ZR1 is the last of the C7 Corvette, and judging by everything we’ve seen so far, they’re going out with a bang.

One large question still remains, however. Did they go with McNuggets or just a burger? Please tell us they didn’t drop a fry between the seats. Those disappear forever!
