Country Star Gives Viewers a Look Inside His $1.7 Million ‘Vette-Inspired Custom Cruiser on Jay Leno’s Garage, Dec. 7

We’ve got to be honest, we’ve never been big fans of buses. But innovative country star Brad Paisley might have just changed our mind. The “Today” hit-maker is guesting on an all-new episode of Jay Leno’s Garage, airing on CNBC on Dec. 7, when he gives viewers a tour of his custom Corvette-themed tour bus. Yep, you read that right.

Inspired by a later model C2 Corvette, a 1958 to be exact, this massive luxury rig has been lovingly crafted with details that make it special. On the outside is an amazing two-tone paint job that mimics the look of the white sides from the old Corvette. It is completed with iconic images of Crossed Flags. Plus, there are matching center caps and a Corvette script across the back of this amazing $1.7 million vehicle.

Move inside to find black leather seats with embroidered crossed-flag logos, a checkerboard floor and taillights embedded in the walls. Paisley, who owns Corvette t-shirts and a custom Corvette logo-emblazoned guitar, also has other fun details like a faux Sunoco machine built into one of the walls. Sadly, we don’t get enough details about the bus in the short segment on Jay Leno’s Garage. But apparently the engine is good for 515 horsepower and 1650 lb-ft of torque.

When it comes to the choice of décor, Paisley makes it clear that he adores the Corvette. The first car he ever loved, he reveals, was his second-hand ’99 C5 Corvette. He even goes so far as to call the Corvette the “flagship for our country.”

Can’t say we disagree with him.
