Rare Corvette Grand Sport Stuns at Goodwood Supercar Sunday
Think Corvette’s are special in the United States? The American sports car has a loyal following across the pond, as well.
The 2017 Chevrolet C7 Corvette Grand Sport is a special car. It combines everything that’s good about the regular C7 Corvette with some of the go-fast goodies on the more potent Z06. Together, the Grand Sport is a package that’s addictive to drive and breathtaking to look at. And while it may seem like only enthusiasts in the United States love Corvettes, this video proves that the sports car can turn heads anywhere.
In the video above by Goodwood Road & Racing, Archie Hamilton, a prominent YouTuber, takes his rare Corvette Grand Sport Collector’s Edition to Goodwood’s Breakfast Club meet up. And the American sports car stuns those in attendance.
For those not in the know, Chevrolet only made 1,000 Grand Sport Collector’s Editions. The majority of those models, 850 to be precise, are for U.S. markets. The other 150 units will be spread out globally. That makes Hamilton’s vehicle an extremely rare sight in the U.K.

In the video, Hamilton gives a quick tour of the car. He ighlights the Corvette’s massive engine, the special edition’s gorgeous blue interior, and some custom touches, including the tinted headlights and taillights. And of course, no Corvette walk around would be complete without a quick rev.
The C7 Corvette is a beast, which makes the Corvette Grand Sport a monster. And while we might not share a lot of the same views on cars with enthusiasts from England, it’s nice to see them enjoying an American icon.
