Putting Your C7 Corvette Away for the Winter? Show Us Your Hibernation Pictures!

Corvettes generally aren’t used as winter cars, and that’s fine by us. Unless you’re part of the population that is smart enough to live down south, some winterizing and hibernation is necessary for your Stingray. To honor those who will be without their Corvettes until spring comes around again, one forum member started a hibernation picture thread. Some use a cover, and some use a protective bubble, but all are safely tucked away. As you can see below, some Corvettes are even stored with a lift, which has its own precautions to speak of.

Hibernation is not just limited to C7s, though. This thread also gives great advice in terms of how to keep tires from flat-spotting, and how to arrange your battery’s trickle-charger. So this is where we want to hear from you about the way you store your ride. There’s so many options for storage, that it is easy to be overwhelmed. Sure you can store it in your garage, but if you’re looking for space for your significant other’s car, you can always store it off-site. In the mid-west, performance shops often offer reasonable prices to store in their heated building.
