When this hardcore ‘Vette enthusiast ordered his 2019 Corvette ZR1, Jim Glover Chevrolet in Oklahoma went the extra mile.
Generally, picking your new car up from the dealer is a quiet affair. You pick up the keys, sign a piece of paper or two and then you’re on your way. But, when it’s a brand new 2019 Corvette ZR1 for a special customer, Jim Glover Chevrolet of Tulsa, Oklahoma, understands that it should be an event.
YouTuber Corvettes 918, real name Chuck, was expecting the car and a few people. Instead, they covered the car so it could be unveiled and put on a show. Chuck was expecting a few people, but he found a small crowd that includes members of his Corvette club Tulsa Vette Set. Our favorite moment is after the Corvette introduction video and Chuck points out they missed a few performance numbers and reels them off to the crowd. A true sign of a man that has been excitedly waiting for his new ‘Vette.
When Chuck ordered his 2019 Corvette ZR1, he left the dealer a couple of cameras to document its preparation. They did a really good job of recording the options being fitted. Something tells us Jim Glover Chevrolet has a YouTuber of its own, and it’s worth watching past the presentation video to see the footage. Like any good Corvette owner, Chuck didn’t hesitate to add his own option. The first thing he’s done is protect the paint with a ceramic coating. However, he’s so impressed with the exhaust he’s already said he’s going to keep it stock.
His previous ‘Vette is a Z06 that also came from Jim Glover Chevrolet. We know that because Chuck’s a prolific YouTuber. As he starts to put the miles on and play with his 2019 ‘Vette, we look forward to seeing more videos of his distinctive white rocket on wheels.
