Supercharged C6 Corvette Crushes Everything on the Streets
Blown Corvette beats multiple Camaros, Mustang and other Corvettes in high speed roll races.
Today we bring you some fantastic highway racing action featuring a spread of American performance cars, focusing on a supercharged Chevrolet Corvette. This C6 takes on other Corvettes, a couple Camaros and a couple Mustangs from a roll and in almost every case, the Vortech-boosted Chevy sports car takes the win.
The High Performance Competitors
This video from the Shots By Jacob YouTube channel begins with a walk-around of the key cars, including a YSI-supercharged C6 Corvette, a “Boosted” 5th generation Camaro, a 900-horsepower C6 Corvette ZR1, an 850-horsepower Mustang with a Paxton-supercharged 5.0-liter V8, a twin turbocharged 5th generation Camaro and a twin turbocharged 2018 Ford Mustang GT.
There is also a tuned C7 Z06 with 700 horsepower that we don’t see until the cars hit the street, but the bottom line here is that thousands of horsepower worth of American muscle is on display in this video.
The Racing Action
Each of the races shown in the video above are captured from inside of the YSI-supercharged Corvette as it takes on all of the competitors. The C6 begins by beating the boosted Camaro and the 900-horsepower C6 Corvette ZR1 with relative ease. Next, it takes on the Paxton Mustang GT in a pair of races and in both, the Chevy leads the race from beginning to end.
The C7 Corvette Z06 is no match for the YSI-blown C6, but the twin turbo Camaro provides the best battle, forcing the Vette to win the race with a big pull on the top end.

Finally, the toughest battles come versus the twin turbocharged 2018 Mustang GT, as the two go head-to-head three times. In the first run, the Mustang jumps out to an early lead with the Corvette catching up on the big end and in the second run, the Corvette takes the early lead and the win.
On the third race, something seems to go wrong with the C6, as the Mustang jumps out to an early lead and just keeps on walking away, handing the supercharged Chevy its worst loss of the night.
