C5 Corvette

C5 Corvette is mistreated and beaten down. So much so, that to call it a “ricer” just doesn’t do it sufficient justice.

Despite touting things like “common sense” and “shared vision,” we as humans tend to have our own, unique tastes. Which, when it comes to cars and certain other fashion choices, can be a bad thing. Just feast your eyes on this riced-out C5 Corvette we spotted on Craigslist, for example. Because even though you’d think it would take a lot to ruin what is a pretty sweet car right off the showroom floor, in reality, it sure doesn’t.

We’ll actually kick things off by starting with what’s good about this C5 Corvette. And, well, that includes the Vortech supercharger mounted under the hood. According to the seller, this “very expensive” build has “the rare manual option,” too. Two different shops told the seller that this car has “the full Hennessey setup” as well, which has to be worth something. Allegedly, the car now produces 500+ hp, but is capable of up to 700 with some tuning.

Now for the much longer bad list. Peek under the hood, and that engine bay looks pretty rough and unkept. We’re guessing that whoever owned this thing before drove the living crap out of it. And of course, we can’t escape this without mentioning that horrifically ugly exterior.

The massive wing and “15k” body kit could actually be passable if it wasn’t all covered in the worst tri-color combo of yellow, blue, and white you’ve ever seen. Oh, and that wing. Wow. It’s pretty much the kind of design you’d expect from a budding 3-year old artist with a crayon box short a few colors.

Or, as most would describe it, this C5 Corvette is simply riced out. Making matters worse, it looks like it’s led a pretty rough life. But you wouldn’t know it by the seller’s ad, of course. Which explicitly prohibits “joy rides” and general b.s. No, if you want to get behind the wheel of this amazing creation, you better bring some cash!
