Lingenfelter’s ‘Spring Open House’ Set for April 28

Corvettes, Camaros, and foreign car exotica await at the Michigan-based company.

Located in Brighton, Michigan, just 40 miles outside of Detroit, the Lingenfelter Collection is exactly what it sounds like: all of Ken Lingenfelter‘s priceless automotive gems together in one amazing display — and it is one of the finest car collections in the country. The one-off, rare prototype Corvettes alone are worth the pilgrimage. Though, the Corvettes make up just 40% of the massive 150-plus cars in the collection. It’s a must-see for any car enthusiast. And on April 28, the company is opening its doors to the public during its annual “Spring Open House.”

The Lingenfelter Collection will be opening its doors for a very special reason: to raise money for The American Cancer Society. A series of events will be taking place throughout the 40,000 square-foot showroom, including a poster-signing by Ken Lingenfelter, and a detailing clinic hosted by the owner of Adam’s Polishes, Adam Pitale. Sketch artist Darrell Swift will be creating personal sketches, as well. Additionally, refreshments and door prizes will be given out. Oh yeah, and visitors will have access to the 2017 Detroit Grand Prix Indy Car.

The Lingenfelter “Spring Open House” is taking place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on April 28. Don’t forget to check out the Ferrari Enzo start-up at 3:15 p.m.! Donations will be accepted at the entrance, and funds raised will go directly to the American Cancer Society. The Lingenfelter Collection is located at 7819 Lochlin Dr. in Brighton, Michigan.
