While scrolling through the C5 Corvettes for Sale section, we came across this wicked 2000 Chevrolet Corvette Fixed Roof Coupe. The “FRC” is the most-limited of the C5 Corvettes, representing just over 6,100 of the 67,000 units sold in 1999 and 2000 before the package was discontinued, but in addition to being very rare, these were the best-performing of the pre-Z06 C5 cars. The fixed hardtop roof and the minimal options kept curb weight low, while the Z51 handling package and the standard LS1 engine with 345 horsepower made the car quick in a straight line and in the turns.

The 2000 Corvette FRC listed for sale by “2000CorvetteFRC” offers substantially more performance, with a supercharger, a host of other engine upgrades, C6 Z06 suspension components and custom wheels and tires transforming this sports car into a supercar.

The Introduction

When the OP posted his gorgeous 2000 Corvette FRC for sale, he provided the following information.

Well I am putting my baby up for sale to buy a diesel truck. Its a 2000 Corvette FRC Nassau blue paint with CCW classic wheels. I have owned the car about 7 1/2 years and its been a blast. The car makes 681 HP and 605 TQ at the wheels and the restrictor plate is still in. It is tuned by SQC tuning and he is available to speak with if you have questions about the tune or how the car is as he has been around it since I bought it.

The car has the following done to it:
– new battery installed in January
– new brass headlights gears in both headlight motors
– stage 2 CNC ported C5Z06 heads
– Torque V2 cam
– LG 1 ¾” long tube headers with X pipe and Corsa axle back
– 92mm Fast intake manifold
– 92mm Throttle body
– Bigger Maf (Assuming 92mm)
– ECS Novi Paxton 1500SL supercharger kit
– -10AN bungs on valve covers with -10 line to catch can
– 3 gauge pillar pod with AEM wideband, fuel pressure, and boost gauges
– B&M shifter with C6Z06 shift knob
– 18” CCWclassic 3 piece wheels
– 265/35/zr18 tires in front and 335/30/zr18 Proxy RA1 tires in the rear
– C6Z06 sway bars and shocks
– Sway bar Metal end links
– C6Z06 clutch

So the engine is built, blown and tuned to make roughly double the stock power, the suspension is upgraded to handle that extra power and the tires help with cornering and launching.
