Sporty C2 Takes Top Honors as ‘Performance Mods’ Winner!

Forum member ‘427Hotrod’ has a head-turning ride that is as fast as it is gorgeous, having been modded to run the 200 MPH quarter mile!

Corvette Forum hosted its annual Corvette of the Year contest last month. We’ve already covered the winner of the “Stock, No Modifications” category. That C2 boasts the eye-catching Nassau Blue paint. And as fate would have it, today’s winner is also adorned in that fetching color!

We picked four categories to highlight the most popular C2 Corvettes. Recently, we covered which stock Corvette won over the majority of voters. Now, we’re thrilled to announce “427Hotrod” as the “Performance Modifications” winner. In total, 32 members, or about 41% of voters chose our featured Corvette. The heavily modified ride is blazing fast and absolutely worthy of the Number One spot.

Corvette Forum member 427Hotrod joined our forums over 15 years ago. He’s contributed greatly to the health and prosperity of the community and frequently shares his ongoing projects with forum members.

He is also affiliated with North West Houston Vette Rods, a Corvette enthusiast group. They’re an active club that meets at least once a month to discuss all things Corvette.

In addition to owning a fantastically fast Corvette, 427Hotrod now boasts his own dedicated shop. The garage contains everything he needs to keep his Corvette a tire-slaying beast. Aside from the enclosed garage, it’s also got a dedicated beverage area. And it sits on an expansive concrete area with side parking. It looks like an incredible place to spend time and we’re completely envious of the setup.  We’re sure he’ll keep the community up to date on his shenanigans.
