Custom Widebody C4 Corvette Adds a Little Euro Flare
This wide-body custom C4 Corvette is for sale in Europe, and it’s one of the best custom C4s we’ve ever seen.
One of the exciting things about Corvette Forum is not just news on new Corvettes. It is also seeing what people are still doing with models of the past. Either through restorations or through almost entirely re-inventing them, something new pops up that we have never seen before. That’s entirely the case with this extreme widebody C4 Corvette.
When we stumbled upon this Corvette, almost on accident, it was on a European car sales website. The listing was in German, but our curiosity was so great we contacted the owner and crossed our fingers that English was a shared language. Thankfully, it was. Here’s what we received from the owner:
“There are over 4000 hours that have gone into the conversion, etc. Among other things, a widebody kit was installed and widened again on the fenders, rear, and front apron. the folding headlights were replaced by the current rounds. An air suspension was installed in the front so that the corvette can be lifted by up to 10cm if necessary to drive better on a lift or something. The rims are custom made by Diamond.”
Clearly, lot of dedication went into making this C4 look like a stunner, and we have to imagine it looks even more incredible in Europe where Corvettes are a little bit more scarce. We love the way this kit looks too, because you really have to look hard to tell that it once was a C4. As stated, the front end is totally widened and the triple headlights look incredible.
The white stripe that runs the center of the car extends all the way back and divides the rear glass. That leads to a wild-looking rear end with a large central vent between the taillights, and two center venturi tunnels. Looking inside and under the hood, the C4 DNA shows, but still looks very clean.
In all, this Corvette is absolutely one of our favorite customs that we have seen. Based on dedication, uniqueness, and overall quality. What do you think?
