Corvette Fans Will Find Plenty to Love at Carlisle’s Winter Autofest

Winter AutoFest isn’t necessarily a Corvette only show, but you’d have a hard time telling by a packed event list.

Many of us are mired in the joys of winter right now, our Corvettes tucked away in the garage. But if you want to escape the dreary season and catch some sun and awesome rides, Carlisle Events has the perfect solution. It’s called the Winter AutoFest, and it’s coming up on February 21-23 at the Sun ‘N Fun Expo Campus in Lakeland, Florida. And while it isn’t exactly a Corvette event, per say, it does have quite a few Corvette specific events scheduled on the calendar over that long weekend.

In fact, Corvettes are taking center stage at Winter AutoFest with their very own dedicated parking and display area. Those looking to show off their shiny ride have two options to participate as well. The first is called the Corvette Fun Field, which secures a parking spot in that dedicated area, along with two days of celebrity judging and a pair of auction bidder passes. As well as, of course, two admission passes to Winter AutoFest. If you register before January 15, you also get a free t-shirt! All for the paltry sum of just $25.

Or, you can step up to the Corvette VIP Package for $75 and get all of that and more. VIPs also receive two VIP auction bidder’s passes, access to the “Corvette Hour” hosted by Carlisle Auctions, a VIP bidder’s breakfast on Saturday morning, and exclusive photo opportunities. You also get the same free t-shirt if you register before January 15. Plus, the option of purchasing an additional shirt for $12.

Either way you go, you’ll receive access to all the good stuff Winter AutoFest has to offer. That includes a special Corvette vendor area, Corvette displays, and seminars. Along with a packed midway, and an automotive flea market for all makes and models. And Carlisle has a special seminar set up with Corvette genius and longtime GM tech Paul Koerner, too. On Friday and Saturday, Koerner will be answering your questions regarding anything technical. A separate seminar also taking place both days will explore the evolution of the Corvette through all eight generations, too.

And as if that isn’t enough, NCRS will also be bringing the 42nd Annual Winter Regional Corvette Meet to Winter AutoFest. That means you’ll be seeing all sorts of top notch ‘Vettes in the house. Some being professionally judged on the spot. On top of all that, The Chip Miller Amyloidosis Foundation is also running a sweepstakes with a brand new 2020 C8 Corvette as the grand prize.

If you didn’t know any better, you might think that the 2020 Winter AutoFest was a Corvette-only show. But we’d expect nothing less from the folks that put on events like Corvettes at Carlisle.
