C6 Corvette Z06 Built by Livernois Needs a New Home
Head work, a camshaft upgrade, headers and a tune lift this C6 Corvette Z06 to 630 rear wheel horsepower.
The C6 Corvette Z06 was and still is one of the greatest American performance cars ever in stock form, but that race-ready beast took to upgrades like the rest of the LS-powered family. The big-displacement LS7 offers 505 stock horsepower, but with heads, a cam, full exhaust and a tune, it can lay down much more power.
While willing through the C6 Corvettes For Sale section, we came across one C6 Z06 that has a built engine and the drivetrain components needed to safely handle the extra power while the exterior looks stock. If you can call a Corvette Z06 a sleeper, this would be it and it is was listed for sale on the forum by “FookenIrishMan”, having been built by the team at Livernois Motorsports in Michigan.

The Introduction
When the OP first posted this built 2008 Cheverolet Corvette Z06 for sale, he included a detailed list of modifications, and it is lengthy, as there has been a significant amount of work done to this car.
Selling my 2008 Corvette Z06 2LZ with 38,282 miles. I owned the car for over 8 years and I’m the 2nd owner. The vehicle was professionally built by Livernois Motorsports 5000 miles ago, 3k of which was a drive across the country. It made 630rwhp/550rwtq. The car is located in Southern Oregon. Asking $34,000.

In other words, this Z06 has been fitted with some of the best aftermarket components that money can buy, with the head work, camshaft, headers and other engine upgrades adding serious power for a naturally aspirated engine. Of course, with Livernois having done the work, we know that it was done right, but in addition to adding power, the seller toughened up the driveline to help make the most of that power without breaking things on every hard launch.
Best of all, if you don’t like how it runs or performs, the seller is including many of the original parts, so the buyer could conceivably restore the car to stock if he or she wanted, although we don’t know why anyone would do that.
In addition to the build list, the seller included a detailed explanation of the aesthetic issues with the car, in an effort to be as open as possible.
– Paint has some swirls that can be worked out (can’t be seen from a few feet away)
– Front bumper/lens have pits from driving across the country
– Rear fenders have pitting on front side due to front tires extending out past the wheel well, as is common on these cars.
– Issues from previous owner that I never got around to fixing: Front splitter is bent and rear spoiler has 2 scratchesThe car looks great, but I want to be as transparent as possible since a local sale is unlikely. So it sounds like this car would benefit from a round of paint repair from a good detailer, and maybe a little fresh paint wouldn’t hurt, but for a C6 Corvette Z06 that looks as good as this one, in addition to all of those upgrades, this car is priced to move.
