LS7 V8 is very capable, whether it’s an all-motor setup or boosted, as Late Model Racecraft shows.
Supposedly, there is a C6 Corvette Z06 in the video above, which comes from the Late Model Racecraft YouTube channel. Of course, we can’t verify that, simply because although we hear a gnarly, blown LS7 V8 engine, and some spinning wheels, we don’t actually see a car in the video. However, we’ve been told that there absolutely is a car in the video above, but it’s been thoroughly camouflaged, so we can’t see it.
Joking aside, this C6 Z06 is a slick looking ride. The monochromatic camouflage wrap contrasts nicely against the matte black Forgestar F14 wheels. While even a stock C6Z has the performance cred to back up the show car look, this one, in particular, really does pack a big punch.
Under the hood is the 7.0-liter LS7 engine, which has been boosted, with a supercharger. It also has the obligatory heads, cam and long tube header upgrade that all LS motors deserve.

All LS engines deserve those crucial upgrades, one, for reliability, and, two, because there is no such thing as too much horsepower. This C6Z adheres to that principle, putting down a healthy 750 RWHP on Late Model Racecraft‘s dyno. For those keeping count, that’s about 50 more wheel horsepower than even the new ZR1 makes out of the box.
According to the video description, this car is a freeway monster, and we don’t doubt them. It also has the bonus effect of being a sleeper, because, hey, who is even going to see it coming, let alone going?
