454-Powered C3 Corvette Could Be Your Dream Weekend Cruiser
White-on-tan C3 Corvette is clean enough for the car show, but broken-in enough to not feel bad about driving it there and back.
Normally, when we browse sites like Bring A Trailer, we tend to look for the rarest of the rare. However, there is something delightful about a car that has clearly been taken care of, but also driven, regularly. Not only do cars that are regularly driven hold up better against the tides of time, but it also means that buying them secondhand is a no-brainer.
That’s certainly the case for the 1972 C3 Corvette we found on BaT. It’s in great shape, and mostly original, too. That bodes well for the collector crowd, but the 62,000 miles on the odometer means that you can wheel this future collectible around a little bit and not fear the miles. This seller put on just 1,500 in the 13 years they’ve owned the car. It’s a good start, but we would love to see this thing rocking out at Cars and Coffee events a bit more than that.

Why not put some more miles on this clean C3? That 454 cubic-inch V8 engine needs to be driven, after all, and with a recently rebuilt 3-speed automatic transmission it’s ready.
It also helps that the tan leather interior is in great shape, as hopefully the next owner will be spending some serious time in there.

At the time of writing, this C3 is going to be trading hands for less than $20,000. It’s not cheap, but can you really put a price on happiness? When it comes to Corvettes, we think not. Why not drop a bid on it over at Bring A Trailer?
