The next Batman’s daily driver will be a classic Corvette, and, naturally, it’s painted black. Bruce Wayne has good taste.
The Batmobile might be the most famous movie or TV car of all time. However, when Batman isn’t fighting crime, he lives a double life as Bruce Wayne, a wealthy industrialist. If he drove the Batmobile everywhere, he’d get recognized almost instantly.
Batman needs a daily driver, and it needs to be something cool enough to not bore him in traffic – remember, he gets to drive the Batmobile, after all. According to Corvette Blogger, the new Batman movie that’s currently in production — The Batman — has Wayne behind the wheel of a 1963 Corvette Sting Ray split-window coupe.

We can’t imagine a more perfect car for Bruce Wayne. It’s got aggressive, sharp styling, and yet it’s inherently classy at the same time. it’s an American icon, like Batman himself. It’s also painted black, appropriately enough.

The 1997 movie Batman & Robin, which starred George Clooney as Batman, established the superhero as a classic car collector. During one scene, you can clearly see a Jaguar D-Type and a Mercedes-Benz 300SL gullwing in his garage, along with a collection of vintage motorcycles.

Movie buffs have known about the Corvette in the new Batman movie for a while now. Initially, though, some thought that the car would be driven by Colin Farrell, who plays Batman’s nemesis The Penguin. However, recent photos show Robert Pattinson, who plays Batman, seated behind the wheel during takes.
The movie is being filmed in Liverpool, England. Judging by the other cars on set, it takes place in the modern era. The movie chronicles a much younger Batman than we’ve seen on screen before. Most of the character’s film appearances show Batman as an established adult. This latest film sees a younger Batman finding his way in the world.
The Batman follows Batman through his second year of fighting crime. In addition to The Penguin, who goes by Cobblepot in this movie, he’ll also face off against two more classic enemies, Catwoman and The Riddler.
