Corvette ZR1 features unique anniversary logos and just about every option offered for an LS9 car.
While the C7 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 has stepped into the spotlight as the strongest ‘Vette of all time, the C6 ZR1 is still incredibly popular. The C6 ZR1 is one of the best-performing American production cars of all time with 638 supercharged horsepower, carbon ceramic brakes and magnetic suspension. However, with just over 4,300 units sold during the five-year production run, these LS9-powered supercars can be hard to find.
Fortunately, while looking through the vehicles currently on sale on BringATrailer.com, we came across a 2013 Corvette ZR1 that appears to have pretty much every available option. 2013 was the final year for the C6 ZR1, but it is still the second-lowest year for production volume. There was only 482 ZR1s made for 2013 and only 159 were painted Arctic White. Also, only 138 were outfitted with the unique blue leather interior of the 60th Anniversary package, making this one of the rarer LS9-powered Corvettes that you can buy.

This car is equipped with the ZR1 High Performance Package, which includes the unique lightweight wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup Zero Pressure tires. There were other Arctic White C6 ZR1s that looked like this one on the outside, but only the 60th Anniversary models get the cool Diamond Blue leather interior.
60th Anniversary Package
The Chevrolet Corvette was introduced for the 1953 model year, so for 2013, the company was celebrating the legendary American sports car’s 60th birthday. The 60th Anniversary Design Package began on the outside with the Arctic White paint and Silver Blue Pearl stripes. The exterior also received gray brake calipers and wheel center caps with the 60th anniversary logo.
On the inside, the 2013 Corvette ZR1 60th Anniversary models all got the striking blue leather interior with embroidered logos on the seatback. There is also a 60th anniversary badge on the steering wheel, which has unique suede accents. The shifter, parking brake handle, armrests and door panels also get the matching suede accents.
LS9 Power
The 60th Anniversary Design Package helps this 2013 Corvette ZR1 stand out from other ZR1s, but it is the LS9 V8 that allows the C6 ZR1 so stand out from the rest of the Chevrolet sports car crowd. The C6 ZR1 was the only American production car to use the LS9 V8.
The LS9 used a 2.3-liter Eaton supercharged to create 638 horsepower and 604 lb-ft of torque. This engine is based loosely on the LS3, measuring 6.2-liters and power is sent to the rear wheels by means of a 6-speed manual transmission. The supercharged engine can be viewed through the window on the hood, which is one of the coolest aesthetic aspects of this model.
When introduced, the LS9 was the most powerful Corvette road engine ever. Today it ranks third behind the LT4 and LT5 V8s from the C7 era. The LT4 delivers 650 horsepower in the Z06 and the LT5 packs a whopping 755 horsepower in the C7 ZR1.
C7 ZR1 Production Numbers
The C7 Corvette ZR1 was offered for five model years, starting in 2009 and ending up with 2013. There were 1,415 ZR1s built for 2009, followed by the biggest year in 2010 with 1,577 units built. Numbers declined sharply to 806 units in 2011, followed by 404 ZR1s sold in 2012 and 482 in 2013. Every one of these cars was equipped with the 638-horsepower LS9 V8 and a manual transmission, but the vast majority have the 3ZR trim package.
Arctic White was offered every year after 2009. 2013 was actually the most popular year for Arctic White, thanks in part to the 138 units of the 60th Anniversary Design Package, with a total of 159 white LS9 cars sold. There were 159 ZR1s painted white in 2010, 81 in 2011 and 42 in 2012. As mentioned above, this blue leather interior was only offered with the 60th Anniversary Design Package, but with 138 units built with this unique interior, it isn’t one of the rarer interior colors.
Ebony is the most popular interior color in 2013 and every other ZR1 model year, but there were only 18 2013 ZR1s with Cashmere cabins and only 43 had the Dark Titanium seats in the final year of the C6.
