Rescued, restored, and revived; these early-generation Corvettes are not only very rare and incredibly beautiful–they are ready to roll.

Some Corvette fans are especially drawn to the classics. The first few generations of Corvettes were exciting, groundbreaking cars. And no matter how far the Corvette goes in its evolution, it always stays true to its roots.

Which isn’t hard to do. These C1, C2, and C3 Corvettes remain as inspiring today as they did when they rolled off the lines.

Of course, classic car ownership is not always easy. My friend sold his 1966 beauty a few years ago. It was a stunning ‘Vette, but–to be fair–a bit of a beater. That said, it was thrilling to drive. However it needed a lot of work, and that just wasn’t going to happen with his bank account. Recently, I asked him if he would buy a classic Corvette again. He said he absolutely would, but the next one would need to be in better condition.

Pristine Corvette restorations are all in a days work at Legendary Motorcars Company (LMC). LMC does some of the cleanest work we’ve ever seen. Legendary Motorcars might ring a bell, because the team, led by owner Peter Klutt hosted the tv shows Dream Car Garage” and “Legendary Motorcars”. The shows featured Klutt and his crew of craftsmen, mechanics, and fabricators scouring the globe, finding and restoring rare collector cars.
