Hey, folks. As we head into the long holiday weekend, I wanted to remind everyone that we recently teamed up with Avalon King to host The Great CorvetteForum Show & Shine. Very simply, it’s a virtual car show where all of our members — any Corvette generation — post the best pic (or more) of their Corvette for a chance to win ceramic coating products to protect your ride for years to come!
Specifically, one grand prize winner will walk away with —
- 3 Armor Shield IX DIY Kits
- 2 bottles of Prep Shampoo
- 2 bottles of Ceramic Maintenance Shampoo
- 2 bottles of Ceramic Booster Spray
- 1 pair of Heatwave Vise Sunglass
And two runner-up winners will each take home —

Per Avalon King, each Armor Shield DIY Kit includes enough ceramic coating for one small car and two bottles should be enough to coat a Corvette. Plus, any time you purchase (or win) an Avalon King product, it includes an email contact for an Avalon King Ceramic Coating Specialist along with a series of tips and advice articles. As I said before, it feels a bit like a concierge service and the Avalon King specialists are super and knowledgable thus far (I may have had a few questions when I received mine.)
As the contest stands, there are currently just over 160 submissions, making for dozens of beautiful Corvettes from which to choose. So I thought it would be fun to share a few here in this article, even though I’m not a contest judge so, as before, placement here isn’t an indication of future success.

That’s it! Simple, right? Of course, you’re welcome to share a story about your car or list the mods or restoration efforts, but those things won’t influence the contest. Also, you’ll notice that we’re hosting this thread in the C8 section of our forums, but, again, the Show & Shine is open to all Corvette generations.
