Incredible Corvette & Muscle Car Collection Coming to Auction

Construction CEO Eddie Vannoy is auctioning off his incredible car and art collection, including 14 low-mile Corvettes.

Set your calendars, collectors, for June 26-30. That’s the weekend Mecum Auctions plans to auction off The Eddie Vannoy Collection, which includes 5,000 modern and classic muscle cars as well as road signs, memorabilia, and other vintage collectibles. For those who don’t know the Vannoy name, Eddie and his brother, Mark, own and run the James R. Vannoy & Sons Construction Co. Specializing in constructing Lowe’s stores and golf courses, the Vannoy brothers rake in about 550 Million dollars each year. And Eddie has put much of his earnings into one of the most impressive private collections in the world.

As you can see from the video above, the Eddie Vannoy Collection encompasses all three American car brands, with a healthy dose of MOPAR, Blue Oval, and GM performance in the collection. For this piece, I wanted to take a moment to highlight the 14 Corvettes that will be up for sale June 28-29 with no reserve. Most are C4 or newer special edition models, with fewer than 5,000 miles. (Hell, most of them have fewer than 500 miles.) These Corvettes look about as cherry as any I’ve ever seen. So if you’re in the market for any of the below, it might be time to book a trip to Jefferson, North Carolina later this month so you can 1) see the collection for yourself and 2) take home a sweet low-mile Corvette.
