Forgeline Introduces Award-Winning F01 Wheels at SEMA

Forgeline’s Flow Formed Series F01 has won the title of SEMA’s best new product and offers affordable aftermarket aluminum wheels for C6, C6, and C8 Corvettes!

As expected, equipment manufacturers are utilizing the platform of SEMA Show 2020 to showcase several exciting specialty products. Forgeline is one such manufacturer, and its Flow Formed Series F01 product line has managed to bag the title of the Best New Product (wheels category). Even though the event is not entertaining any in-person attendance this year in light of the ongoing global pandemic, you can still follow all the excitement of the SEMA week via the SEMA360 online platform.

Forgeline has more than 26 years of experience and has designed products that have been used by some of the most extreme race cars around the world. Forgeline’s all-new Flow Formed Series F01 range offers an impressive selection of competitively-priced aluminum wheels. According to the company, each wheel will offer 1,500 pounds of load capacity when running on street tires.

The Ohio-based aftermarket company assures buyers that Forgeline F01 wheels are built using state-of-the-art flow forming techniques and will meet the highest standards of quality. To ensure that its Flow Formed Series F01 wheels are extremely sturdy and lightweight, Forgeline uses cold vertical flow form technology and gravity cast to manufacture its product.

The company’s F01 wheels are made out of aluminum but Forgeline also offers a wide range of carbon fiber products. Every F01 aluminum wheel is built using a dedicated barrel mold that spins a preheated cast wheel. The rollers are pressed into the spinning wheel which shapes the inner rim by flowing the metal thinner until the profile of the inner rim matches the mounting specifications. This improves metal yield and increases the tensile strength of wheels.

The Flow Formed Series F01 range offers aftermarket wheels for all C6 and C7 ‘Vettes as well as all C8 Corvette models. Corvette-compatible products are available in three color options that include Anthracite, Liquid Silver, and Black Ice. Forgeline’s F01 wheels are currently on sale, and prices (per wheel) for the 19-inch and 20-inch wheels start at just $580 and $610, respectively.

At the moment, Corvette also offers two sets of aluminum wheels as optional exterior accessories for the upcoming 2021 model year Stingray.
