Many a Corvette has proven it is the perfect speed demon to reign the notorious Green Hell. 

There are many ways to put a Corvette to the test. But in terms of racing circuits, few match Germany’s Nürburgring Nordschleife. The famed and challenging track has well earned its nickname “Green Hell.” Over the years and its generations, Corvette has shown it is consistently capable to running seriously hot laps and posting remarkable times.

Nürburgring has long been the proving grounds that separate the boys from the men; the track monsters from the garage queens. With 12.9-miles of twisting, turning track; it is a tough circuit that has seen many Corvettes rip through the ‘Ring with a fury.

For this week’s Track Time Tuesday, we present the best official lap times for street-legal Corvettes at Nürburgring–including one incredible–and controversial– hot lap.
