C8 Corvette owners who go to the track school have to pay for the pictures, but they are worth the cost.

If you are buying a 2020 Chevrolet Corvette and you want to get the most from your new performance car, the Ron Fellows Performance Driving School at Spring Mountain Motor Resort is the answer. The two-day program is offered for just $1,000 to C8 owners, which is substantially less expensive than the program for non-owners. This program teaches the students how to handle the C8 Stingray when it is pushed to its limits on the safe confines of a race track. More importantly, it is a ton of fun, leading attendees to want to commemorate the experience in photographs.

Fortunately, Spring Mountain offers photography packages and after attending the C8 Corvette Owner’s School, “Jagamajajaran” shared pictures of him piloting a new Stingray in Rapid Blue. Not only are they great pictures of the C8 Corvette in action, but they also show how much the OP is enjoying the track time.

C8 Corvette Owner’s School Introduction

When the OP first posted the pictures of his time at the C8 Corvette Owner’s School at Spring Mountain, he provided some basic details and his successful results.

Track pics of me behind the wheel of a 2020 Corvette at the Ron Fellows Performance Driving School, Corvette Owner’s School, Spring Mountain Motorsports Resort in Pahrump, NV. We were on the West Track and my best lap time was 1:24:81 during the final session. I won the autocross competition with a 40.87 time. It was an amazing experience and I have a lot of video and stories to share at a later date.

He also posted a dozen images featuring him in a Rapid Blue C8 Corvette Stingray. We have only included a few here, but you can check them all out by clicking here.

The first person to respond was “Grumps’ Garage”.

So how much are photos like that going to cost me when I go?

We later learn that the OP paid $140 for these pictures, but there are different packages with varying costs. At $140, this photo package is a no-brainer.

After the question about photography pricing, several members chimed in to praise the driving school programs at Spring Mountain.

The first was “Lacquer”.

Awesome! This program is so well run!

The next was “Foosh”, who also mentioned the photography packages.

It is a fantastic curriculum, with great instructors, who talk you through everything on the radio while you’re driving. I’ve been several times, and learned more each time.

There is a cost for the photos, but you can choose from different packages. You don’t have to choose any of them if you wish not to.

RichieRichZ06” wondered which track configuration was being used.

Which track is considered the West track? I wonder if it was the same course that we ran for the GM dealer sales academy.

Foot 1” had the answer for that question, providing details on the West Track layout.

The west track is a 1.5 mile track with 10 turns, it has a drop in it, you enter the track by the garages past the club house, it’s kind of short but technical, I think the north/south track is the most fun.
