Brad Paisley Picks Up His C8 at the National Corvette Museum

Do you like the new C8 Corvette? Do you like Country Music star Brad Paisley? If that sounds like a combo worthy of the next Reese’s candy concoction, boy do we have a video for YOU.

The National Corvette Museum covered Country Music star Brad Paisley‘s C8 delivery earlier this week where Paisley described his relationship with Corvettes and other GM cars. It turns out Paisley’s grandfather was a Pontiac salesman. And the first sports car Paisley purchased when he started earning royalties from his music was a 1999 C5 Corvette. “And I’ve been buying them ever since.”

Paisley also fully endorsed National Corvette Museum delivery process, calling the experience “awesome.” And, luckily for him, as a Nashville resident, he got to drive his C8 home rather than arrange for shipping. I can’t think of a better way to get a C8 through the rev-limited break-in period, can you?

Paisley ordered his C8 in Long Beach Red. It appears to be a 2LT or 3LT car with the Z51 package and (recently discontinued) high-wing spoiler. Congrats to brad and thanks to the National Corvette Museum for sharing. Here is their video:
