Top 10 Corvettes Under the Summer Heat at 2021 NSRA Street Rod Nationals

The humidity may have made us sweat, but nothing sweats these 10 red-hot Corvettes chilling at the 2021 NSRA Street Rod Nationals.

Every first weekend of August, the city of Louisville, Kentucky comes to life in a way not even the famed Kentucky Derby could match. Instead of horses, its hundreds of thousands of horsepower rumbling into the Kentucky Expo grounds for the National Street Rod Association Street Rod Nationals. And of course, among the thousands in attendance are a wide assortment of Corvettes.

This past weekend, we found ourselves looking for Corvettes at the 52nd edition of the Nationals (not that they weren’t hard to find). With the rule that cars need to be 30 years or older to participate, that meant we were going to find only the first four generations of America’s sports car among the street rods and trucks. These 10, though, caught our eye, and we’d love to share them with you.

No. 10: Black and Red and Mean

This is not a Corvette you’d want to meet in a dark alley. Though we missed the owner, we simply couldn’t miss this black-and-red beauty grinning at us from afar. The rallye wheels really make this ride look ready to throw a few punches at the stoplight.
