Low-Mile Arizona Survivor L82 ’74 Corvette Thrives Under the Desert Sun!

Bright yellow L82 ’74 Corvette with a four-speed only has 23,000 miles on the odometer. It’s nearly original, down to the set of Goodyears.

Wondering where you might find the Corvette of your dreams? Aside from your local Chevy dealership or the used car lot? Why not look through our Corvette Forum Forums? Every generation of America’s sports car can be found for sale within our classifieds, just by going to a specific generation’s sub-forum. From brand-new to project and between, the ‘Vette you seek may just be within reach.

One such example in our forums happens to be this ’74 Corvette. The bright yellow C3 looks good for its age. However, its story will blow you away. After all, this one’s a survivor.

“A very original, completely documented Corvette that drives like a 23K mile original car despite the original, aged rubber suspension parts,” says the seller, bumperkar kid. “Huge 3-ring folder with documentation up the butt! Great investment. Must see to really appreciate this classic.”

Residing in Arizona, the Corvette’s only had a few updates made to keep it on the road. The original owner repainted and lacquered the ‘Vette in 1987, and hasn’t been repainted ever since. A new exhaust helps improve the L82’s singing ability, and a set of BF Goodrich tires keep it on the road.

However, for NCRS judging purposes, the original Rally wheels and their Goodyears come with the Corvette. Though driving far on them would not be a smart move, having them around for car shows is a big plus for this ‘Vette. Meanwhile, the L82 and four-speed manual have never been out for service, the majority of the suspension pieces are still in place, and the interior is well-loved. In short, it’s a stunning machine that no one would need to worry about driving on the road.

Originally offered for $20,900 “or reasonable offer,” the Corvette’s current price is $19,900. Not a bad price on a survivor like this one.

However, if this ‘Vette’s not your dream, there are many more available in our forums. And while you’re there, why not become a member, too? You’d certainly get the most out of our forums and community, for sure.
