Inferno Orange C6 Corvette Z06 Burns Wallets, Melts Hearts

Packed with Z07 and Carbon Fiber packages, 2011 Corvette Z06 includes a few mods, is garage-kept when not at the show ‘n’ shines.

Combed through the classifieds in our forums lately? If not, why not start the new year off right by seeing what’s available from our members? Every generation is available there, as well as the parts to make a given ‘Vette the best ride it can be.

That said, some ‘Vettes are pretty damn good out of the box. From the C6 classifieds, we happened upon this 2011 Inferno Orange Z06 with the Z07 and Carbon Fiber packages. It’s already melted a few hearts, though its price may set your wallet on fire.

“Up for sale is my 2011 Corvette Z06 w/ Z07 and Carbon Fiber Package,” writes slammin86. “This car is Inferno Orange and I have owned it since 2016 when the car had 7,000 miles. The car currently has ~16,000 miles. I did the heads/cam swap at 10,000 miles. I have a book that has the mods as well as the date and mileage documented. The car typically travels between my garage and car shows; most of the time it sits on a battery tender.”

As for the mods, this Z06 has quite the mix. Inside, there are seats and a steering wheel from a 2012-2013 model, a GM Accessory pedal kit, and LED interior lighting. Up front and out back, the 7.0-liter LS7 gained ported heads and an AHP 116 cam, new intakes, and a new cat-back with carbon-fiber exhaust tips. Of course, the Burnt Orange exterior is also amped up with a bit of black. From the headlights and badging to the 19- and 20-inch wheels, if it can be blacked-out, it was. The whole package, as the seller says, “gets tons of attention anywhere it goes.” And so, too, does its price.

“This car is listed at 65.5K,” the seller says. “This is not OBO. If I wanted to sell this car at 47K I would have listed it at that. If I wanted to sell this car for 55K I would have listed it for that […] Not trying to come across as a dick, but there is no reason to waste your time or mine. The price is the price is the price is the price.”
