C8 Corvettes

Growing up doesn’t mean we have outgrown putting together a holiday wish list. We look at what would make Corvette fans happy.

With the book on 2020 nearly closed, we have enough data to officially call it a turd of a year. Despite this, there was one tremendous bright spot. That bright spot was of course the new Corvette. The new C8 coupe is fantastic, and the convertible is just sublime. A Z06 is on its way as well as several other iterations that are sure to follow. What more could we really ask for? Well, glad you asked. This time of year was made for daydreams and big ideas. We throw caution to the wind and put together a Corvette wish list.

The idea is to not to get too crazy here. We are not asking for flying Corvettes or time machines. We may stretch things beyond what Chevrolet may be willing to do, but we do not ask for the impossible. The C8 Corvette is already a gift. We don’t want to get too greedy. Well, maybe we are being a little greedy. After what 2020 put us through, we think we deserve a little extra. So, here in no particular order is our wish list for the Corvette.

Paint to Sample

War Bonnet Yellow

With the C8 the Corvette is now taking on some of the fancy European sports car makers. One thing that a lot of these exotic car makers offer is a paint to sample program. The Corvette does already have an extensive color pallet to choose from. Orange, red, blue and even Zeus Bronze Metallic are on offer. However, being able to pick nearly any color in the rainbow would be pretty cool. How about a War Bonnet Yellow C8 convertible? Or perhaps a Donny brooke Green coupe? We would love to see some of these classic colors on the newest Corvette.
