When Barrett-Jackson throws an auction, they do it right. Running from March 20 to 27, Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale promises a fleet of rare and stunning examples spanning generations. It’s nothing short of a fever dream of Corvette greatness. It’s difficult to pick just one Corvette to feature. So, we can’t. 1955 Corvette Convertible
Barrett-Jackson has built a reputation as one of the best auction houses for classics. And this C1 Corvette is a perfect example. Powered by its original matching-numbers 265ci V8 engine, this is #372 of 700 produced. This was the first year Corvette offered the V8.
Perfectly restored and finished in Polo White with red interior and a beige top, this is remarkably clean. The California car includes the original Bill of Sale, full documented history, original letters from Chevrolet, and vintage photos.
