A 2015 Corvette Z06 with just 1,394 miles on the odometer is currently on sale for the price of $99,900. This single-owner car comes equipped with a 7-speed manual gearbox and the optional 2LZ Package.
The pre-owned car market is kind of crazy at the moment. The prices of used cars are continuing to skyrocket. However, we recently came across a convertible 2015 Corvette Z06, which might be one of the best holiday deals of 2021. The car in question is a single-owner Z06 with just 1,394 miles on the odometer.
So what we are looking at here is essentially a brand new ‘15 Corvette Z06. Back in 2015, Chevrolet described the Z06 as “the most capable model in the iconic car’s 62-year history”. This particular example sports a rich triple black paint job. The sports car also gets a black interior that complements the color scheme of the bodywork and the retractable soft top.
The car is being sold by Garage Kept Motors, which is a collector and specialty auto sales outfit based out of Wyoming, Michigan. This Carfax-certified very low mileage track monster can be yours for the price of $99,900. The car’s astounding performance comes from a 6.2-liter supercharged LT4 V8 engine, which sits under the hood of this Corvette Z06.
It was in 2015 that Chevrolet offered its first open roof structure capable of delivering the highest level of performance that Corvette had to offer at the time.
The powerplant produces 650 HP of maximum power and 650 lb-ft of peak torque. A 7-speed manual gearbox sends power to the rear wheels. The powertrain of this 2015 Z06 can propel the sports car to 60 MPH from a complete standstill in just 3.2 seconds with a capable driver behind the wheel. This car also comes equipped with the optional 2LZ Package. Therefore, it gets leather Competition Sports Seats that feature microfiber inserts.
Brushed metal accents offset the all-black interior, which flaunts contrasting white stitching on the leather surfaces. This convertible Z06 rides on an aluminum platform that was designed to be 20% stiffer than the Z06 coupe. Even with the added stiffness, the overall weight of the Z06 convertible remained identical to the fixed-roof model.
Furthermore, thanks to computer-aided metallurgy, engineering, and manufacturing, the 2015 Corvette Z06 was the first open roof offering from the automaker that was strong enough to deliver the highest level of performance that Corvette had to offer at the time.
