We recently came across an LS3-powered Corvette convertible, which is up for sale on the popular digital auction platform Bring a Trailer. The auction ends in just seven days, and right now, the highest bid stands at $73,000.

Let’s take a quick look at what this 1963 C2 Corvette restomod has to offer for that kind of money. We find a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 motor under the hood of this C2 Corvette convertible, and the powerplant could churn out 430 HP of maximum power in its factory spec. The ensemble also includes performance upgrades like Velocity sheet metal intake, Stage 3 Brian Tooley cam, and Be Cool radiator with dual electric fans.

A 5-speed Tremec TKO600 manual gearbox sends power to the rear wheels via a Dana 44 Rear Axle with a 3.56 gear ratio. The gorgeous 1963 Corvette convertible restomod rides on a Coffman C2 custom chassis. The car also gets Thunder Chamber side pipes, and a Z06 brake setup provides the stopping power.
