2022 2LT CMAF Carlisle Charity

Is the sticker price for a 2022 2LT too steep? Here’s your chance to pick one up at Carlisle for $150 and donate to a good cause!

This year at Corvettes at Carlisle, the Chip Miller Amyloidosis Foundation (CMAF) and Lancaster County Corvette Club (LCCC) are hosting a charity fundraiser with an exceptional grand prize: a brand-new 2022 Corvette 2LT. The CMAF, dedicated in loving memory to Chip Miller, puts all proceeds towards furthering knowledge of the rare disease for earlier detection and a better life for the affected. As one of the best-known Corvette enthusiasts, Chip Miller’s responsible for the creation of Corvettes and Carlisle. And his passion shines through today in his family and friends, who now host the CMAF and events in his honor.

This year, one of 1,000 entries drives home in an Elkhart Lake Blue 2022 2LT. Whitmoyer Auto Group of Mount Joy, PA generously provided the vehicle for CMAF and LCCC. Buy-in sits at just $150, not a bad deal at all considering what may be waiting for you. The mid-range 2LT trim package features options such as Bose 14-speaker sound, premium infotainment, performance data recording, and GT1 bucket seats. All that backed with the venerable 6.2L LT2. And remember, every penny you donate goes to a worthy cause, backed by true Corvette enthusiasts. Corvettes at Carlisle opens on Saturday, August 26, with dinner the night before. Drawings take place the evening of the event, which as always is bound to be packed with beautiful Corvettes from all time periods.

Chip Miller and Amyloidosis

In case you’re not familiar, Chip Miller was a Corvette collector, well-loved for his passion and openness. Along with friend Bill Miller, Chip created Corvettes at Carlisle as an event to share this enthusiasm with the world. Sadly, doctors diagnosed Chip with Amyloidosis in December of 2003, succumbing just three months later. The foundation bearing his name dedicates themselves to the early testing of this horrible disease to provide for better outcomes. And furthermore, donations go to medical professionals seeking viable treatment options. Previous years produced upwards of over $50,000 in donations and several other prize vehicles, such as this example from 2020.

2020 CMAF Carlisle Charity

If you’re interested in donating for the raffle, there’s a few ways to do that. Firstly, you can download the raffle form directly, located here.  CMAF also accepts submissions by phone (717-243-7855), or entering directly at the event. Donating is, of course, not restricted to this raffle. And if you’d like to support CMAF directly, they accept donations off their main website, located here. Otherwise, as Chip intended, Corvettes at Carlisle remains open to anyone and everyone, Corvette enthusiast or otherwise.
