Corvette of the Year 2022: Calling All C1 Corvette Owners, It’s Your Time to Shine

CorvetteForum’s Corvette of the Year 2022 contest is now open, and you can enter your C1 in either the Modified or Unmodified category.

CorvetteForum’s Corvette of the Year contest is back for 2022. And much like Chevrolet we are starting with the C1 generation. If you are lucky enough to own a C1 Corvette and think it has what it takes, you can enter it for consideration now. There are two categories in which you can chose to enter. There is the Unmodified category. This is for cars that are stock or very nearly stock. Minor changes such as aftermarket wheels are allowed. If your C1 has been modified, then you will want to enter it in the Modified category.

Bragging rights are at stake. Some things are more important than money and being able to say that you own the Corvette of the Year is one of those things. The winner will be able to brag to all of their buddies. And for proof, a designation under your user ID declaring your winning status will be added to your profile. If you don’t own a C1, not to fear, in the coming months, we will feature all remaining Corvette generations.

How to Enter

Entering CorvetteForum’s Corvette of the Year contest could not be easier. First, you need to be a CorvetteForum member. If you are not already a member you can click HERE to sign up. We offer free basic memberships as well as several paid premium membership levels. All levels of membership are eligible for contest entry. Then you just need to post a picture of your C1 in the appropriate forum thread between now and 11:59 p.m. PDT, July 3. If you enter in the Unmodified category, you can post only a single picture, but in the Modified category you can post up to three pictures.

Where to Vote

Moderators will pick ten of their favorites as finalists and set up a poll to allow you to vote on which of those finalists is the C1 of the Year. Please note that when the poll is set for voting on the ten finalists, only the first picture in a modified entry will be included if you posted more than one picture in the modified competition. So, make that first picture your best!

The fine print: It is a contest, so naturally there is fine print.

One entry per member. This contest is open to site users over the age of 18 who own the car they enter. Entry photos must have been shot by the Corvette’s owner. That is to avoid professionally made photos which might give the entrant an unfair advantage. If you want to enter a photo of you in or by your car, that’s fine so long as the picture was not taken by a professional photographer.
