2015 Corvette Z06

With just 9100 miles on the odometer, this 2015 Corvette Z06 is a blessing for enthusiasts who are sick of huge dealership markups and long waiting periods.

The all-new C8 Corvette made its debut to much fanfare. As one would expect, the car’s popularity has sent its price soaring to a point where General Motors had to step in and intervene. Safe to say, it’s not easy to get your hands on a brand new Z06, but Doug DeMuro’s auction site might offer some respite to one lucky buyer. This 2015 Corvette Z06, in its showroom-like condition, is currently up for sale on cars & bids.

The car we have here has just 9100 miles on the odometer and comes with a clean California title. This is a single-owner C7 Corvette Z06 equipped with the desirable 3LZ premium equipment package. In addition to the power-adjustable heated and ventilated bucket seats, the cabin also gets Chevy Performance data and video recorder as part of the optional package.

The auction for this 2015 Corvette Z06 ends on February 4th, and right now, the leading bid stands at $61,000.

The sports car gets an 8-inch touchscreen MyLink infotainment unit that hooks up to a Bose surround sound system. According to the dealer, this Z06 has not been modified in any way. As a 2015 model, this example was built during the nameplate’s first year of production. The sports car flaunts a vibrant Velocity Yellow paint job, offset by black racing stripes.

Furthermore, the vehicle also gets several carbon fiber body panels, including a detachable carbon-fiber roof. The front-end of the sports car rides on a set of 19-inch rims, whereas the rear sits on a pair of 20-inch wheels. A supercharged V8 sits under the hood of this Z06. This particular model year was also the first time that Chevrolet offered Z06 with an automatic gearbox.

The LT4 powerplant hooks up to an eight-speed automatic transmission which sends power to the rear wheels. The 6.2-liter motor put out 650 HP of maximum power and 650 LB ft of peak torque in its factory tune. As a result, the C7 Z06 could hit the 60 MPH mark from a complete standstill in just 2.95 seconds.
