2023 Corvette Z06 Order Banks Are Set to Open This Spring
2023 Corvette Z06 order banks will open in the coming weeks following an elongated wait for the ultimate C8 (for now).
It goes without saying that a lot of people are chomping at the bit to get their hands on the recently-unveiled 2023 Corvette Z06, which sounds like an exotic car thanks to its naturally-aspirated, flat-plane crank, 5.5-liter LT6 V8. Many have already placed deposits with dealers in an effort to secure one of these special cars as soon as possible, but order banks haven’t opened up just yet. However, those folks won’t have to wait much longer to do so, as 2023 Corvette Z06 order banks are set to open in the late spring, according to GM Authority.
No specific date has been set as of yet, however, and as always, these things are subject to change. These days, dates do routinely get shuffled around as numerous supply chain shortages continue to wreak havoc on the automotive industry in general, but for now, it seems like a pretty safe bet that 2023 Corvette Z06 order banks will be opening up in the coming weeks, regardless.
While that may not be terribly far off in the future, GM still hasn’t released official pricing for the new Z06, though it’s likely safe to assume that it will cost more than its predecessor, which carried a price tag of $81,995. The lucky few that wind up scoring one will be getting a lot for their hard-earned money, of course, starting with the most powerful production naturally-aspirated V8 in history, as the LT6 makes 670 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque and revs to a lofty 8,600 rpm redline – once the break-in period is up, of course.
Available as a coupe or convertible, the options list for the 2023 Z06 is a mile-long as well, with a plethora of exterior colors, interior finishes, and option packages available. That includes the incredibly popular Z07 Performance Package, which adds a host of carbon-fiber aero bits and pieces to the car, as well as massive carbon ceramic brakes, optional carbon fiber wheels, and Michelin Sport Cup 2 R ZP tires.
We’ve been waiting a very long time for the C8 Z06 to arrive, and after multiple delays, it’s finally set to happen in the coming months. Luckily, that elongated wait should be well worth it.
