National Corvette Museum Resuming Factory Tours in October!!!

After a production-focused and pandemic-induced pause, the National Corvette Museum will revive factory tours in October!

Since 2017, the National Corvette Museum and the General Motors Bowling Green Assembly Plant paused factory tours to focus on enhancements and layout changes to the facility. Then in 2020, the hiatus was extended in reaction to COVID-19. After getting through the thickest part of the pandemic, the museum is finally ready to welcome enthusiasts to the factory.

Starting October 25 for museum members, Corvette fans will be guided through the factory once again. For non-members, the date to look forward to is November 1. Sales will be online, and according to the museum’s website, and tickets will also be available for purchase in person – with the regular no bags, cameras, or open-toe shoe policy intact. Though, the museum strongly encourages advanced purchasing since same-day tours aren’t guaranteed.

The National Corvette Museum opened in 1994 with the sole mission of maintaining and preserving the Corvette’s legacy. All things past, present and future dealings with one of America’s most iconic sports cars is within the museum’s walls. With exciting exhibits like Nostalgia Alley, where themed displays align with a 1950’s aesthetic to exhibits going through Corvette’s racing lineage, it’s a sight worth the trip to see.

Aside from being able to witness Corvettes being made at the only assembly plant since 1981, you can also pay your respects to Zora Arkus Duntov’s ashes. And you won’t want to miss out on the Skydome, either – since cars on display are on a constant rotation.
