First North American Z06 Press Car Lands (Listen to It Rip!)

The moment has finally arrived. The very first Z06 press car has been delivered. Emelia Hartford took delivery and posted the video below to her YouTube channel. Her driving impressions are embargoed for now. Although based on her non-stop huge smile we think it is safe to say that she likes it. But we get the see and HEAR it for the very first time on actual roads. And for the first time listen to that flat-plane crank V8 rip to redline under a tunnel! This is our best look and hear yet of the Corvette that will take on the exotic cars of the world.
The car does not belong to Hartford, but she is still as giddy as a schoolgirl when she gets behind the wheel for the first time. And who can blame her? We would all be reacting the exact same way. And she continues to act exactly like most of us would. She starts out by just ogling the car from top to bottom. Then she puts it right into track mode and takes off flying down the street. Woo hoo!

Worst Embargo Ever
As we mentioned the true driving impressions are embargoed for now. Hartford is not allowed to share on camera how she feels the Z06 drives. But all you have to do is watch her behind the wheel of this Z06 press car for more than 10 seconds and you learn all you need to know about her driving impressions. She LOVES the thing. The Z06 goes from sports car to exotic. And that much is obvious from watching and listening to this video.
Stingray Comparison
The next thing Hartford does with the Z06 is compare it side by side with her C8 Stingray. As far as we know this is the first time anyone has been able to show the two cars side by side. The Z06 is obviously wider and more aggressive looking. The center radiator on the Z06 also stands out. The C8 Stingray looks like a sportscar but the Z06 looks like a track weapon. And the best comparison is the rev-off between the two. The Z06 just sounds worlds more exotic and supercar like than the Stingray. The Stingray is not bad but the Z06 is next level.
