With just six pounds of boost, this comprehensive C8 Corvette twin turbo kit adds big power at the wheels.

By now, we’ve seen multiple C8 Corvette twin turbo kits both in stores and strutting their stuff at the track, all with generally very impressive results. Forced induction has long been a quick and relatively easy way to add tremendous amounts of power to pretty much any vehicle, and that’s certainly the case with the latest and greatest version of GM’s fiberglass wonder. Now, a new C8 Corvette twin turbo kit has arrived that only expands that list of offerings – the Peitz Performance Bravo Lite setup, created by a company that’s been building performance packages for a variety of models for years now.

The Peitz Performance Bravo Lite C8 Corvette twin turbo kit is a pretty comprehensive package as well, and includes a pair of Precision 62/66 ball-bearing turbos, T304 stainless steel up pipes, a 3-inch stainless T304 X-pipe, dual flared exhaust tips, Dual Precision 42mm wastegates, Dual Precision blow off valves, Dual EXA pumps for oil scavenging, an air to water intercooler, intercooler pump and custom heat exchanger, and a Delta Control Module with tuning included.

The whole thing can be installed with no cutting or fabrication required, and the results are pretty impressive as well, as we can see in this video. Before adding the twin turbo kit, this C8 Stingray put down 463 horsepower and 449 pound-feet of torque on the dyno, after which we get a brief overview of the installation process. Then, it’s time to have some fun and find out just how much power this new kit adds to the already-capable Stingray.

Even with the stock cats still in place, this combination proves to be quite lethal, churning out 625 horsepower and 606 pound-feet of torque at the wheels – gains of 162 horsepower and 157 pound-feet of torque. What’s particularly impressive about those numbers, however, is that they were achieved with just six pounds of boost, which is essentially about as low as this kit will provide. With additional tweaks to handle more boost, this kit could easily pump out more power, but even as it is, makes for one heck of a fun and potent combination for the street or the track.
