Here Are the Latest 2024 Corvette Constraints

The 2024 Corvette is facing fewer constraints than its predecessors, but some production challenges still remain.

It may seem hard to believe, but the 2024 Corvette represents the fifth year of production for the C8 model. However, even though GM has ramped up production as of late thanks to an easing of supply chain issues, the mid-engine model remains somewhat difficult to find, and in many cases, is still being sold at a bit of a premium. As has been the case since the onset of the pandemic, the 2024 Corvette will indeed continue to face constraints as well, which were just revealed by YouTuber and longtime Corvette salesman Rick Conti.

With 2024 Corvette order banks officially open following yet another round of price increases, we already have a pretty good idea of what colors, features, and configurations will be more difficult to obtain than others. For the base Stingray, this includes three exterior colors —

  • Riptide Blue Metallic
  • Cacti Green
  • Sea Wolf

As well as four different wheel options —

  • Gloss Black
  • Midnight Gray
  • Satin Graphite
  • Five-spoke Silver

On the bright side, there are no current constraints for either cars equipped with or without the Z51 Performance Package, as has historically been the case.

Moving on to the highly-coveted Z06, it’s worth noting that the high-revving version of the C8 is also facing the same exterior color contains as the Stingray, along with some aero constraints —

  • visible carbon fiber ground effects
  • the visible carbon fiber high wing
  • the carbon flash high wing
  • carbon ceramic brakes

The good news is, this is a rather massive improvement over what we’ve seen with the 2023 model.

An incredibly rare option at launch, the Z07 Performance Package has since enjoyed a rise in availability throughout the 2023 model year, and it looks set to improve for 2024 as well. This is obviously great news for order holders that have been waiting patiently for that track-focused package, refusing to go with the base model, while the limited availability of carbon ceramic brakes is likely due to the fact that these units will also be standard equipment on the forthcoming E-Ray.
