2023 Corvette Z06 Is Apparently Good at Hauling Wildlife

When the time came to haul a deer to the taxidermist, this 2023 Corvette Z06 owner decided to use it for that task – which stirred up a hornet’s nest.

Early this year, we came across the story of a fellow named Harry and his C7 Corvette in the CorvetteForum forums, which was a pretty fascinating one, to say the least. You see, Harry doesn’t just keep his Corvette stashed away in a garage under a cover, only driving it on fair-weather weekends. Rather, he uses it essentially as a work truck, driving it around his undeveloped property and hauling everything from a deer to tools in the back. Now, ironically enough, it seems as if Harry isn’t the only one that has used his sports car to haul his prized hunting trophy home, because a brand new 2023 Corvette Z06 owned by CorvetteForum member Panduh has just done the same thing.

Panduh recently posted some pictures of this unique choice of transport, and – as one might imagine – it caused quite the stir. But then again, we’d expect nothing less when we came across this particular thread, which shows the head of a buck stuffed in a trash bag, resting on the passenger seat. The OP didn’t provide too much information about what the heck is going on here at first, which obviously generated reposes ranging from “you are a terrible person” to “nice car and nice buck!”

Following a bit of an outburst from a few other members – some who appreciate a good hunt and others that, well, think that Panduh is just doing this for attention, he explains that he acquired this particular prize with a bow. However, he doesn’t just hunt for sport, as he has already processed the animal. “This particular deer is going to be consumed by family and friends over the next year in the form of chilis, roasts, jerky, breakfast sausage, and burgers,” he said. “It’s a bonus that it just happens to be a really nice buck!”

The story behind this particular photo, it seems, is that the butcher doing all of that work finished his job, which is when one would take the head of the deer to a taxidermist if they want to preserve it – and in this case, that’s what’s happening. It just so happens that Panduh thought it would be funny to transport the head in his 2023 Corvette Z06 rather than, say, something like a pickup truck.

The reaction that this decision stirred up was unsurprisingly, truthfully, but at the end of the day, would we expect anything different from the internet?
